Music has always been a vital part of worship at Second Baptist Church. We follow the biblical mandate:
Let the word of Christ richly dwell within you teaching and admonishing one another with psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with thankfulness in your hearts to God. Colossians 3:16
Our goal is to enhance the worship of our Lord for all members, visitors, and those worshiping with us through or television ministry. There are many outlets for becoming involved in the music ministry of Second Baptist and they include:
- Sanctuary Choir
- Young at Heart Choir
- Praise Team
- Praise Band
- Children’s Choirs
- Handbells
- Instrumental Ensemble
- Youth Praise Team or Youth Praise Band
